"You Will Know" is a hit 1988 R&B ballad by American singer-songwriter and Motown music great Stevie Wonder, taken from his Characters album.

It is the opening track on the album, and is the second single from the album as well. This is Stevie Wonder's 18th number-one R&B hit single[1].

Overview

"You Will Know" is about a protagonist claims that in hope for answers to an unsolved solution, whether in a state of depression, or hoping for a better tomorrow, despite the magnitude.

In March 1988, the song reached number seventy-seven on the Billboard Hot 100, number one on the R&B chart,[2] and number sixteen on the Adult Contemporary charts.
